Caffè Florian

Caffè Florian is located on the left-hand side facing away from the main entrance of the "St. Mark's Basilica" and facing the "ㄇ -shaped" St. Mark's Square.

Founded by Mr. Floriano Francesconi in 1720, it is the first cafe in Italy, one of the symbols of Venice, and the second oldest cafe in the world.

 

Its gorgeous and elegant decoration style has given it the reputation of "Italian-style coffee palace", and it has become the object of many cafes to follow suit.
