The Grand Canal is the most important canal in Venice, Italy, and part of Venice's main water transport network.

One end of the Grand Canal leads to the Venetian lagoon, near Santa Lucia Station; the other end of the Grand Canal is near Piazza San Marco. The Grand Canal is S-shaped and runs through the center of Venice. It is 3,800 meters long, 30 to 90 meters wide, and an average depth of 5 meters.

Privately operated water taxis and water buses make up Venice's public transport network, although many tourists use Gondola.
